How do I add parking to my driver's card?

You will need to notify your ORIX Account Manager and they will activate your ORIX Caltex StarCard or ORIX WEX Motorpass Card to accept parking. ORIX will liaise with the card providers to activate the cards (ORIX Caltex StarCard) or request replacement cards (ORIX WEX Motorpass Card). 

 

How much does it cost to activate parking on my driver's card?

It’s free to activate the card. Parking costs are recharged to your company and are consolidated on your monthly ORIX invoice. Standard card transaction fees apply.

 

Will drivers need a new card to activate parking?

Once the parking feature has been authorised, their ORIX Caltex StarCard will be activated and there is no need for a replacement card. Drivers with an ORIX WEX Motorpass Card will need a replacement card.

 

Will drivers need a new PIN for their replacement ORIX WEX Motorpass Card?

ORIX WEX Motorpass Cardholders will be issued a new PIN for their replacement card.

 

Where can drivers use their card for parking?

At over 150 sites across Australia metro, locations found here. Drivers can enter the car park using their activated ORIX Caltex StarCard or ORIX WEX Motorpass Card and use the same card on exit.

Alternately, drivers can book their parking online with Secure-a-Spot and use their card for payment.

 

How does a driver book a Secure Parking car spot online?

In 3 simple steps, drivers can:

1) Visit Secure-a-spot and select your destination, date, entry and exit times.

2) Once you have found parking that meets your need, create your own Secure-a-Spot account.

3) Enter their activated ORIX Caltex StarCard or ORIX WEX Motorpass Card as your payment method to secure your parking.

Secure Parking will email the driver a unique PIN to be used on entry and exit at the parking location.

The fee is charged to your ORIX account and the discount will apply to your monthly ORIX invoice, it is as simple as can be.

 

Can I receive parking discounts without having a card?

The discount is only available once the Secure Parking feature has been activated to your ORIX account.

 

How is it invoiced?

The fee is charged to your ORIX account and the discount will apply to your monthly ORIX invoice. Depending on your card provider it will be invoiced as below.

  • ORIX Caltex StarCard – Caltex applies the 5% discount before invoicing ORIX. For example, if the parking charge is $100, you will be invoiced $95.
  • ORIX WEX Motorpass Card – ORIX applies the 5% discount after invoicing you. For example, if the parking charge is $100, you will be invoiced $100, and then ORIX credits you the 5% ($5.00). Charge and credit should flow through on the same monthly invoice.
